Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our BBU team as a BMS Process Owner. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering and improving the BMS platform, reducing waste from the process, and implementing standards across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and improve the BMS platform to enhance business performance
  • Identify and eliminate waste from the process using the DMAIC approach
  • Implement standards across shifts to incorporate job changes, operational run times, and other key performance indicators
  • Maximize machine availability through standardization
  • Support operations to drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Support and facilitate Kaizen events to promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Act as a 5S champion to maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Manage scrap and implement operational projects to drive business growth

Requirements

  • Engineering experience in a similar industry, preferably in steel wire transformation and coatings
  • Proficiency in SAP and intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with tooling, hot rolling, cold rolling, and/or annealing processes
  • Proven experience in project management and a 'Can Do' attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a willingness to take calculated risks
