Job Description

Job Title: Apprentice Career Development Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Career Development Administrator. In this role, you will provide administrative support for our Apprenticeship, work experience, and pre-employment programs, as well as other ad-hoc programs and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the Apprenticeship, work experience, and pre-employment programs, including maintaining computerized filing systems, producing and disseminating minutes, and following up on action points.
  • Enquiry Management: Act as the first point of contact for enquiries relating to Apprenticeships, Work Experience, Pre-Employment Programmes, and End Point Assessment, and respond in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor an apprentice's progress for successful entrance of End Point Assessment gateway to complete their apprenticeship, and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
  • Meeting Coordination: Book in and attend pre-gateway and gateway meetings for Apprentices going through End Point Assessment, and take minutes and actions during the meetings.
  • Recruitment Support: Support the recruitment process for apprentices, including booking interviews, sending through funding forms to successful applicants, and checking Trac Jobs for application updates and start dates.
  • Communication: Update the Skills Academy Social Media accounts and internet/intranet web pages, and create content using online design tools.
  • Resource Management: Order resources, stationery, and prepare leaflets and documentation for careers fairs and events.
  • Event Support: Attend recruitment and careers fairs with the Career Development Facilitator, and provide advice and guidance on NHS Careers and associated Apprenticeships.
