Job Title: Development Manager for Renewable Energy

Overview:

Invenergy LLC is seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of renewables development for onshore wind, solar, and battery storage, working closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of onshore renewables projects across the UK.
  • Undertake detailed assessments of site suitability, including risks and opportunities, and coordinate planning submission documentation.
  • Manage the project lifecycle from conception to financial close, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Produce and maintain project programmes, budgets, and internal reporting requirements.
  • Appoint and manage external consultants to support project delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, including presenting projects to consultees, permitting stakeholders, and host communities.
  • Stay up-to-date with jurisdictional planning processes, regulation, and policy, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and O&M.
  • Contribute to financial models, identify project benefits, and produce investment appraisals to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant professional experience in renewable energy development or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the renewables development process, regulation, and policy, as well as regulatory evolution.
  • Demonstrable relationships within the energy industry.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • GIS experience beneficial.
