Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy for both organic growth and new asset projects in the UK, ensuring optimal resource allocation and effective project execution.
  • Contribute to setting short-term and long-term goals aligned with the company's global strategy, providing regular updates to senior management on market developments and project status.
  • Assess the technical and economic feasibility for projects, preparing recommendations for investment decisions as time for repowering.
  • Evaluate project budgets and input financial models to ensure project feasibility and profitability, optimizing resource allocation across projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, specifically large-scale PV and wind energy projects.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale renewable energy projects development with tangible results in terms of consented and build projects of more than 1GW, with exceptional strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the UK renewable energy market and regulatory landscape, with deep understanding of stakeholder management and relationship building.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
