Advanced Specialist Midwife

University Hospital Wishaw is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Specialist Midwife to join their Maternity & Neonates Ward team.
The ideal candidate will possess postgraduate expertise within the speciality, comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines, and specialist knowledge of relevant conditions and pathology.
Key responsibilities include managing and caring for a specific client group, providing individual patient care, and planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care within a specialised area of women's services.
The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously, with no immediate peers or specialist support, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with NHS Lanarkshire's policy and procedures.
Requirements include registration as a Midwife on Part 10 of the NMC Register, education to degree level, and postgraduate expertise within the speciality.
