Job Title: Financial Accountant

Cammach Bryant is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. Located at our clients Aberdeen or London office, this long-term contract role offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the preparation of consolidating and synthesizing elements of the financial reporting requirements for Renewable projects in the UK.
  2. Gather and collate data to produce and analyze accurate reports for the budget, forecasts, and monthly year-to-date management accounts reporting (Shuttle) to strict deadlines for renewable UK.
  3. Support the preparation of the statutory accounts, accompanying notes & assist with any audit queries.
  4. Coordinate with other service providers for various activities (group funding request, quarterly VAT submission, tax returns, branch returns, stats accounts, legal and board requirements, etc.).
  5. Ensure the appropriate cash calls are called according to the interests in each entity and joint venture and ensure the correct reporting of joint venture billing.
  6. Oversee and monitor month-end closing process, including review and preparation of accruals and cost allocation.
  7. Act as the point of contact for all JV matters, prepare monthly management accounts, chair the finance committee meeting, ensuring action points agreed at the meeting are delivered on a timely basis.
  8. Support the execution, confirmation, and settlement of CFD and other energy derivatives.
  9. Execute daily cash duties including processing of outgoing payments, incoming cash transaction recording, and daily cash position analysis.
  10. Support ad hoc projects.
  11. Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior with regard to H3SE and implement H3SE rules and requirements within their area of responsibility.
Requirements:
  1. Considerable financial experience.
  2. Part qualified accountant.
  3. Fluent in English; French would be advantageous.
  4. Highly organized, rigorous, and reliable.
  5. Ability to work in transverse environments.
