We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Strategic Resources European Recruitment Consultants Ltd. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for gathering and collating data to produce accurate reports for the budget, forecasts, and monthly year-to-date management accounts reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and collate data to produce accurate reports for the budget, forecasts, and monthly year-to-date management accounts reporting.
  • Support the preparation of the statutory accounts and assist with any audit queries.
  • Coordinate with other service providers for various activities, including group funding requests, quarterly VAT submissions, tax returns, branch returns, and statutory accounts.
  • Ensure the appropriate cash calls are made according to the interests in each entity and joint venture, and ensure the correct reporting of joint venture billing.
  • Oversee and monitor the month-end closing process, including review and preparation of accruals and cost allocation.
  • Act as the operator point of contact for all JV matters, prepare monthly management accounts, chair the finance committee meeting, and ensure action points are agreed upon and delivered on a timely basis.
  • Support the execution, confirmation, and settlement of CFD and other energy derivatives.
  • Execute daily cash duties, including processing outgoing payments, incoming cash transactions, and daily cash position analysis.
  • Support ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Considerable financial experience.
  • Part-qualified accountant.
  • Fluent in English, with French being advantageous.
  • Highly organized, rigorous, and reliable.
  • Ability to work in transverse environments.
