A leading and well-established steel manufacturing business is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead its IT transformation stage of development in the UK. The successful candidate will have a background in ERP integration and IT deployment projects across enterprise-level platforms.
About the Company
Our client operates across 50 worldwide locations, achieving in excess of £116m UK turnover and globally around £15bn. With over 90 years of industry experience, the company is undergoing a significant IT transformation stage of development in the UK, with plans to migrate some of its existing IT and ERP systems over the next 2-5 years.
The Role
- Lead ERP integration and IT deployment projects across enterprise-level platforms.
- Work on both UK and international deployment projects within the IT and/or manufacturing sector.
- Hold a professional PM qualification, such as Agile, PMP, or Prince2.
- Produce documentation to the required quality standards and support the use of ISO27002 in system development and installation.
- Communicate, influence, and engage with both software and technical engineering teams, including C-suite teams.
- Responsible for achieving business objectives using own initiative and managing teams, including developing plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Ability to project manage current systems by identifying risks and implementing processes to minimize project disruptions.
- A good understanding of SQL database and cloud technology knowledge (highly desirable).
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry experience with knowledge of working on large-scale IT system integration and ERP integrations such as SAP or EFACS.
- Solid experience in project managing system design, development, and operational support at the highest level.
