Dunfermline, United Kingdom Symbiotic Talent Full time

Symbiotic Talent is seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Specialist to join their team on a hybrid basis. This role would suit a qualified or part-qualified accountant who enjoys working in an ad-hoc environment with constant prioritization. The successful candidate will have direct day-to-day support and development from a talented CFO, owning the numbers they analyze.

The Role

  • Cash - preparation of weekly and monthly group cash flow, cash forecasting by territory and currency, investigation of overdue accounts, and recommendations to the CFO on best management of currency transactions.
  • Sales and Margin Reporting - monthly sales reports for all countries, variance analysis, price increase analysis, and assistance with customer quotes.
  • Stock - ensuring accurate real-time stock across regions in accounting and internal tracking systems, leading weekly and monthly stock take processes, full reconciliations, and participating in daily production planning meetings.
  • Ad-hoc requirements.

The Person

  • Must have experience working with stock.
  • A proven track record in a proactive/ad-hoc role rather than a purely month-end position.
  • A positive person with a good problem-solving attitude and initiative, as this role involves juggling multiple tasks.
  • Proactive and a natural relationship builder.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with every person in the company, from the CEO to warehouse employees.
  • Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
