Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant SENDCo to join our team at Dawlish College. This is a permanent position requiring a start date from 1st March (or as soon as possible thereafter).

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of the SEND team, developing and implementing effective strategies to improve student outcomes, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure student progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with students, parents/carers, and staff to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Manage learning intervention programmes to ensure student progress
  • Work closely with the SEND team to coordinate support services
