About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing and Logistics Manager to join our team at TK Elevator UK Ltd. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the supply chain needed for our projects, including negotiation with suppliers, attainment of solutions that cater to project needs while reducing costs, and managing all purchasing processes from vendor assessment to payments confirmation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the supply chain needed for our projects
  • Negotiate with suppliers to attain solutions that cater to project needs while reducing costs
  • Manage all purchasing processes from vendor assessment to payments confirmation
  • Manage logistics, including setting up delivery conditions that suit the project programme, ensuring timely material dispatches, and coordinating with the Client all logistics requirements
  • Set budgets for different local supply categories and target cost reduction within each budget without jeopardizing quality or safety aspects of the material/services
  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Installation Manager within the project team
  • Drive quality, safety, and cost efficiencies of the supply chain to meet all operational requirements

Requirements

  • Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
  • Ability to add value, reduce costs, and make business improvements
  • Contract and Supplier Management experience
  • Strong understanding of procurement practices and processes
  • Hands-on experience in using MS Office, databases, and eProcurement systems
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Experience in quality control and planning processes of supply chains
  • Flexible, decisive, and proactive problem solver
  • Able to influence internal/external suppliers to achieve fulfilment objectives
