At Raffles London at The OWO, we are seeking a skilled Spa Therapist to join our Rooms Department. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Wellbeing and Head Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatment sessions within our spa and wellness department.

As a Spa Therapist, you will be the face of our spa, representing our brand values and providing a warm welcome to our guests. You will be knowledgeable about all aspects of treatments, products, and spa therapy, and will perform treatments in a safe, professional, and hygienic manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as an ambassador for the spa and representing the brand values to colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and consistent service experience for our guests.
  • Performing spa treatments in a safe and professional manner, and recommending treatment aftercare and selling spa retail products.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the treatment rooms and inventory.
  • Reporting for appointments on time and thoroughly reviewing appointments before and after completing each service.
  • Maintaining a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and colleagues.
  • Assisting in the operations of the spa, reception, and thermal areas, and providing support to colleagues whenever possible.
  • Maintaining current professional licenses and certifications.

Requirements include:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a spa therapist.
  • Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or day spa is recommended.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional service and experiences.
  • Proven track record of surprising and delighting guests to provide exceptional service.
  • Able to work within a team and multitask, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain high standards.
