About the Role
As a Homebirth Midwife at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality, woman-centred care to women who choose to give birth at home. We are looking for a passionate midwife who is motivated to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the development of our homebirth service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, individualized care to women who choose to give birth at home, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in the development of our homebirth service, contributing to the design and implementation of new initiatives and policies.
- Work closely with other midwives and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members, promoting best practices and sharing expertise.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
