About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Social Worker to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. The successful candidate will have significant experience of working with children and young people around harmful sexual behaviour, particularly the application of the AIM3 framework.

The role will involve delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people as directed by the Youth Court, as well as developing the Youth Justice Harmful Sexual Behaviour Pathway. This will include deepening Service understanding and delivery around technology-assisted HSB and sexual harm against siblings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social work legislation, methodologies, and policies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a multi-agency setting and have a commitment to continuous professional development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A qualified Social Work degree or equivalent, with registration with Social Work England
  • Significant knowledge and experience of working with children and young people around harmful sexual behaviour
  • Extensive knowledge and application of social work legislation, methodologies, and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
