About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our First Response team at Leicestershire County Council. As a Social Worker in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide social work services to children and families, including assessments, interventions, and support planning.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of social work policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
