About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Tesco Cafes. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our cafes, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business meets its financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food standards across all cafes in your region.
  • Drive improvement programs to help underperforming cafes thrive and achieve their full potential.
  • Lead and mentor Cafe Managers and their teams, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of best practices to ensure quality service, legal compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor the maintenance of cafes and equipment to protect assets and meet regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
  • Work closely with store and office teams to deliver plans and provide valuable feedback.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews to identify development or corrective actions.
Requirements
  • A background in hospitality with experience managing multiple sites.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and resilience.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
