SEN Support Professional

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to support primary school students in Market Harborough and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, following their individual education plans (IEPs).
- Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with a variety of SEN needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist with the delivery of personalised interventions to help children achieve their learning goals.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators (SENCO), and parents to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Support students with any personal care requirements, if necessary.
- Help manage behaviour in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum.
