We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the radiotherapy department, responsible for providing expert knowledge and technical advice in areas such as CT, mould room, and dosimetry planning. They will also be required to lead and support junior staff and other professional groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical advice and support to junior staff and other professional groups
- Lead and participate in pre-treatment areas as an advanced practitioner
- Contribute to the development and implementation of radiotherapy services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
Working Environment
The Radiotherapy Department at Ninewells Hospital is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing a range of services including brachytherapy and SABR. We have a state-of-the-art Varian linear accelerator, Canon Aquillion Wide Bore CT scanner, mould room facilities, HDR brachytherapy facilities, and Raystation treatment planning system.
