Corporate Tax Associate Director/Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Associate Director or Director to join our team at Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment in Reading, Berkshire.

This is a genuine opportunity to progress to partner at the firm, with a clear defined pathway of development. Our client is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Planning/Advisory Specialist at Senior Manager or Director level who has the potential to further develop the corporate tax offering.

The successful candidate will work towards taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of a team, growing business for the Corporate Tax offering, and working closely with the other Partners; autonomy to help shape the team's growth strategy.

The ideal candidate must have excellent technical skills and experience, and have a thorough understanding of UK corporate tax issues. The team deals with a broad range of tax issues, including R&D tax credits, patent box claims, capital allowances, group restructures, M&A, exit planning and succession planning, transfer pricing, and other cross-border taxes.

You will have extensive experience of managing a team and helping to deliver a very high standard of professional work to a challenging and varied portfolio of clients.

The local Reading office is commutable from areas all across Berkshire & Hampshire such as Newbury, Slough, Swindon, Oxford, Bracknell, and Maidenhead.
