About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Oulton Manor, a luxury residential care home in Leeds. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage food storage, handling, and disposal, minimizing waste and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.
  • Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, taking into account residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Chef Manager and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Level 2 food safety certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a catering or hospitality environment, with knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
