Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team, focusing on European markets and commercial sectors. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management and investment teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth research on European companies, including commercial services and industrial distributors.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management teams to enhance coverage of European markets.
  • Conduct primary research through expert calls, earnings calls, company visits, and industry meetings.
  • Generate actionable recommendations based on relative value analysis and industry trends.
  • Communicate findings effectively to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Perform financial modeling and incorporate macroeconomic analysis into research.
  • Interact with management teams from key firms within the sector.
  • Participate in team strategy discussions and contribute to daily market meetings.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as an asset management firm researcher, preferably in the industrials sector.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel and database management.
  • Sophisticated communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Diverse knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial modeling techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CFA, ACA, or MBA designation.
  • Previous experience as a buy-side equity analyst.
