Safety in the workplace is paramount, and we value a collaborative spirit and a willingness to learn. While electrical skills are advantageous, prior experience in the traffic industry is not mandatory, as we provide comprehensive training and certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and inspections of traffic signals, including servicing, upgrading, and troubleshooting signal heads, controllers, and associated equipment.
  • Perform electrical testing and periodic inspections, along with upgrade tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards, adhering to specifications and timelines.
  • Collaborate with contractors and clients on-site.
  • Accurately analyze and process fault and asset data to support performance reporting.
  • Assist with emergency repairs and out-of-hours work as required (on a team rota basis).
  • Complete mandatory product training and obtain relevant industry and highways sector accreditation.
  • Maintain awareness of workplace safety and proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Individuals who enjoy learning new skills, confidently tackling new tasks, and working on-site.
  • Candidates with an electrical qualification or experience in the installation, maintenance, and/or testing of equipment.
  • Team players who are helpful and proactive.
  • Those who are comfortable working outdoors and at heights while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Detail-oriented individuals who enjoy troubleshooting.
  • Candidates who are committed to achieving team objectives and collaborating effectively with others.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on a fair rota basis to ensure project completion.
  • A valid driving license is required.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary with an annual bonus.
  • 26 days of holiday, increasing to 29 days with tenure.
  • A 37.5-hour workweek, with opportunities for paid overtime and additional compensation for unsociable hours.
  • Provision of a company vehicle, tools, personal protective equipment, and uniform.
  • A robust pension plan with matching contributions up to 10% of your salary.
  • Flexible benefits tailored to your personal needs.
  • Commitment to your professional development and support for membership in professional organizations.
