About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Bioinformatics Expert to contribute to the Centre for Tumour Microenvironment at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University London.

The successful candidate will lead the bioinformatics components and provide expertise in large-scale data analysis, especially next-generation sequencing data sets. Key requirements include an MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Genomics or a relevant discipline.

A strong background in single-cell RNA-seq analysis, spatial omics and machine-learning is desired. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain accurate records.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London and is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for 12 months. The starting salary will be Grade 4-5, in the range of £39,065 - £50,685 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
