We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare. As a Clinical Oncology Nurse, you will be working at the forefront of our services, providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes or in our mobile units or clinics.

About the Role

This is a bank position, offering flexibility and autonomy to work ad hoc shifts that suit your needs and our business requirements. You will be responsible for delivering clinical excellence, providing quality 1-to-1 care to patients, and working independently to manage your workload and itinerary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering all routes of SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) to patients in their own homes or in our mobile units or clinics
  • Providing high-quality care to patients, including bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and more
  • Working autonomously to manage your workload and itinerary, with the support of our team as needed
  • Traveling extensively between patients, requiring a full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced nurse with a valid NMC PIN, a formal Oncology qualification, SACT passport, or in-house Oncology training to administer SACT. You will also need to have a high level of care and empathy, be well-organised, and comfortable managing your own workload and itinerary.
