About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our Technical Services (TS) (Air) team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the top-notch condition of mechanical aviation equipment, sub-assemblies, and components stored by Logistic Services.
  • Carry out examination, minor repair, and adjustments to a range of Mechanical aviation components, associated sub-assemblies and component parts.
  • Meet agreed targets and objectives for Tech Services in accordance with KN/TS/LCS business plan.
  • Ensure International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001 Quality Standards are maintained and applied throughout the organisation.
  • Relaying customer requirements to the appropriate authority.
  • Working to British (BS), European (EN) and other standards.
  • Recording, analysing and interpreting data appertaining to the work being undertaken.
  • Certifying the final product or system for the Authorised release of component.

About You:

  • ONC/HNC in Engineering or relevant trade training experience and knowledge within the aircraft industry.
  • Working knowledge of Military aircraft aviation equipment and processes in accordance with approved data and regulations.
  • Good organisational and communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook.
