About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our Bioproduction R&D team at Revvity. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in supporting the development of innovative products to enhance Revvity's Bioproduction portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, and execute research projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data in context of the wider project.
  • Contribute proactively to the development of new offerings and influence research strategy of the department.
  • Execute and deliver customer projects according to the project timeline, following Standard Operating Procedures and recording experiment and project information in relevant documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team and across different Revvity teams to achieve project goals.
  • Record and maintain up-to-date laboratory lab books, prepare documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, and communicate data clearly at internal and external meetings.
Requirements
  • Masters or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biochemical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or corresponding experience in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Strong expertise in cell culture and molecular biology skills, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and ddPCR.
  • Knowledge of Cell Line Development for mammalian cell lines.
  • Previous experience in gene editing technologies and cell line engineering, and/or leading client projects would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude, with comfort working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical knowledge of bioreactors.
  • Previous experience in cell and gene therapy field.
  • Experience working within an environment to GLP or cGMP standards.
Salary Information

The salary range for this position is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, with additional benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
