Cash and Treasury Operations Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Cash and Treasury Operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for a range of cash processing tasks, including handling cash flows, fees, and trade-related FXs. You will also be responsible for instructing cash movements at custody, supporting externally managed cash and security movements, and monitoring overdrafts and overdraft interest.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the team to ensure timely resolution of cash-related queries and provide processing and query support for cash-related activity as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Settling of repo/reverse repo, money market placements, and other cash management activities
  2. Transmission and receipt of settlement instructions and payment/receipt of settlement amounts
  3. Preparing, maintaining, and supervising daily and intraday nostro cash positions with Correspondence banks and custodians
  4. Maintaining counterparty static data, including settlement instructions, and counterparty limits
  5. Managing collateral relating to OTC derivative positions and conducting EMIR reporting
  6. Ensuring the daily settlement of bank and building society deposits and monthly capitalization work
  7. Undertaking reversals, adjustments, and corrections of client Treasury deals
  8. Handling and executing all incoming and outgoing customer and corporate payments
  9. Handling internal account transfers and maintaining cash standing settlement instructions
  10. Managing manual booking of BACS, Banker's draft, and Cheque Collection
  11. Investigating issues and queries in relation to payments and cash-related activity
Requirements
  1. Understanding of operational risks and control frameworks, with knowledge of current regulation in the Treasury area
  2. Experience in Treasury and Cash area with an understanding of Treasury products and their settlement processes
  3. Knowledge of collateral and cash management, as well as good analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with T24 system beneficial
