Cash and Treasury Operations Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Cash and Treasury Operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for a range of cash processing tasks, including handling cash flows, fees, and trade-related FXs. You will also be responsible for instructing cash movements at custody, supporting externally managed cash and security movements, and monitoring overdrafts and overdraft interest.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will need to be able to work effectively in a team, communicate complex information to stakeholders, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Settle repo/reverse repo, money market placements, and other cash-related transactions
  2. Transmit and receive settlement instructions, and process payment and receipt of settlement amounts
  3. Prepare, maintain, and supervise daily and intraday nostro cash positions with Correspondence banks and custodians
  4. Maintain counterparty static data, including settlement instructions and counterparty limits
  5. Manage collateral related to OTC derivative positions, and conduct EMIR reporting
  6. Ensure daily settlement of bank and building society deposits, and perform monthly capitalization work
  7. Reverse, adjust, and correct client Treasury deals, and handle incoming and outgoing customer and corporate payments
  8. Manage internal account transfers, including ISA/JISA transactions, and maintain cash standing settlement instructions with relevant correspondent banks
  9. Manage manual booking of BACS, Banker's draft, and Cheque Collection, and investigate issues and queries related to payments
  10. Provide processing and query support for cash-related activity, as required, to support Investment, Operations, and Accounting teams
  11. Manage the exchange of RMA Keys via SWIFT network with counterparties, and maintain the SSI table in T24
Requirements
  1. Understanding of operational risks and control frameworks, with knowledge of current regulation in the Treasury area (e.g. Basel III, EMIR, FINFRAG)
  2. Experience in Treasury and Cash area, with an understanding of Treasury products (FX, MM, Repo, Fiduciaries, and IRS) and their settlement processes
  3. Understanding of all cash flow processes, both interbank and client-related
  4. Knowledge of collateral and cash management
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong handle on operational risk
  6. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience with T24 system beneficial
