About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Operations Analyst to join our team at Schroders. As a key member of our Cash and Treasury Operations team, you will be responsible for a range of cash processing tasks, including handling cash flows, fees and expenses, and trade-related FXs. You will also be responsible for instructing cash movements at custody, monitoring overdrafts, and responding to cash-related queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Settle repo/reverse repo, money market placements, and other cash transactions
  • Transmit and receive settlement instructions, and process payment and receipt of settlement amounts
  • Prepare, maintain, and supervise daily and intraday nostro cash positions with Correspondence banks and custodians
  • Maintain counterparty static data, including settlement instructions, and counterparty limits
  • Manage collateral relating to OTC derivative positions, and conduct EMIR reporting
  • Ensure the daily settlement of bank and building society deposits, and perform monthly capitalization work
  • Reverse, adjust, and correct client Treasury deals, and handle incoming and outgoing customer and corporate payments
  • Manage internal account transfers, and maintain cash standing settlement instructions with relevant correspondent banks
  • Manage manual booking of BACS, Banker's draft, and Cheque Collection, and investigate issues and queries related to payments
  • Provide processing and query support for cash-related activity, and manage the exchange of RMA Keys via SWIFT network with counterparties
Requirements
  • Understanding of operational risks and control frameworks, with knowledge of current regulation in the Treasury area
  • Experience in Treasury and Cash area, with an understanding of Treasury products and their settlement processes
  • Knowledge of collateral and cash management, and good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience with T24 system beneficial
