Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Customer Service Engineer to join our team at Prima Power United Kingdom. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and repairing complex technical problems.
  • Installation and Training: Install new machinery and provide training to customers on the operation and maintenance of their equipment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform planned maintenance and repairs on customer equipment, including dismantling and rebuilding machines as needed.
  • Documentation: Document product problems and resolutions in detail, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Three to five years of related experience in a technical support or field service role.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection techniques, with a working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Software and Hardware Skills: Competent skills in reading schematics, using test equipment, and reading software coding to diagnose problems, as well as proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively with customers and employees.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
