Job Details

Network Open is seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join their team in a busy, well-established chain of practices. The successful candidate will have at least 12 months experience within optics and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, dispensing at all levels, and carrying out pre-screening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients
  • Dispense glasses and contact lenses at all levels, including complex prescriptions
  • Conduct pre-screening tests and examinations to identify potential eye health issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and colleagues
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the practice through effective sales and marketing strategies

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months experience in an optical environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
