Prison Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking experienced mental health nurses to work with CV-Library on long-term contracts in the North East of England.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is £58,800 - £65,600 (£28-£32 per hour), offering a competitive salary for skilled professionals.
About the Role- Deliver high-quality mental health care to inmates, including assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of prisoners' mental health needs.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support the mental health needs of inmates.
- Maintain a high standard of nursing care, including clinical procedures, treatments, and the custody, storage, and administration of drugs.
- Prior experience in prison-based mental health services is essential.
- Excellent communication, risk assessment, and crisis intervention skills are required.
This role requires a strong background in mental health nursing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
