**Job Title:** Caring Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caring Support Specialist in the Southampton area. As a Mental Health Support Worker with Cera, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with mental health conditions and substance misuse issues.

**Salary:** £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for providing emotional support and practical assistance to individuals who require help managing their mental health. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and social services to ensure that those you support receive comprehensive care and guidance.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with mental health conditions and substance misuse issues
  • Providing emotional support and promoting positive behavior
  • Identifying triggers to prevent escalations of stressful situations
  • Handling emergencies and crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and social services
