Gi Group is hiring a Teaching and Learning Specialist to contribute to the educational development of our students.

Job Summary

This role involves teaching and assessing students on various courses, with a focus on developing skills for future careers and providing exceptional education through outstanding teaching and preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to students across a range of courses, with a focus on planning, preparation, and evaluation.
  • Develop specific vocational work and employability skills in students, preparing them for higher studies and the workforce.
  • Provide pre- and on-course guidance to support learners to successful outcomes.
  • Oversee the academic and pastoral care of a group or groups, arranging support requirements with the Curriculum Team Leader and Progress Tutor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An appropriate teaching qualification and Assessor Award, or a willingness to work towards these qualifications.
  • The ability to deliver to students at all levels and abilities, using flexible and innovative methods of delivery.
  • The capacity to transfer practical experience into useful learning activities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • A Level 3 vocational qualification and industry experience.
