Job Title: Hospital Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a Hospital setting in London. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate checking of medications for the inpatient pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of inpatient prescriptions dispensed by other pharmacy staff
  • Identify and correct dispensing errors or items not acceptable to release
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain stock control and replenish supplies
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dispensary
Requirements:
  • Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous experience working as an ACT Pharmacy Technician
  • Hold an NVQL3 and Btec certificate in pharmacy services that meet the registration of Pharmacy Technician's criteria
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and interpret prescriptions accurately
