About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Commercial Graduate Programme as a Transmission Business Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to drive growth and improvement in our transmission business.
  • Work closely with our customer and stakeholder teams to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of business opportunities and risks, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with our technical services team to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including our asset management and operations teams.
About Our Teams

We have several teams within our Commercial Graduate Programme, each with its own unique focus and responsibilities. These include:

Business Planning:

Our business planning team is responsible for developing and implementing business plans and strategies to drive growth and improvement in our transmission business. They work closely with our customer and stakeholder teams to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.

Customer and Stakeholder:

Our customer and stakeholder team is responsible for supporting the improvement initiatives within our directorate. They work in areas such as connection offers, customer relationships, stakeholder engagement, communities, and corporate affairs.

Strategy:

Our strategy team is responsible for ensuring that we grow our network in a fair and sustainable way, and in ways that align with our broader goals. They develop insight and analytics, and identify and assess future growth opportunities for the business.

Technical Services:

Our technical services team is responsible for the successful delivery of projects and initiatives. They work closely with our asset management and operations teams to ensure that our transmission business is running smoothly and efficiently.
