About the Job

We are recruiting for a Care Assistant to work with individuals who require support with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication administration, and domestic duties.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a care setting, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with personal care and hygiene
  • Administer medication
  • Support with preparing and cooking meals
  • Assist with attending medical appointments
  • Support with social activities
  • Support with independent skills development
  • Keep accurate records and update care plans as required

Requirements

  • Experience working in a care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Literate and numerate in English
  • Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate
