Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the site regarding all HR-related issues.
  • Implementing and reviewing HR policies and procedures in line with employment law legislation.
  • Advising on employee relation issues including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management, and sickness absence management.
  • Liaising with Trade Union representatives.
  • Leading HR strategic projects including annual talent reviews, succession planning, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Well-Being initiatives.
  • Managing Time and Attendance and overseeing payroll processes.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in a standalone HR generalist role.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage various projects simultaneously.
