We are seeking a dynamic teacher to join our team in Halifax. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inspiring students to explore history, culture, and the human experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that foster critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity and discussion about global issues.
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support their learning.
- Integrate diverse perspectives and resources into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with fellow educators on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (or in progress).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for fostering a love of learning and understanding of the world.
