About the Role
This exciting opportunity is part of the Sustainability Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where you will complete the Level 3 Junior Energy Manager Apprenticeship. The role is a two-year fixed-term contract, providing a dynamic and challenging environment to develop your skills and knowledge.
Main Responsibilities
As a key member of the Sustainability Team, you will be responsible for:
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting, presenting data in a clear and attractive format.
- Assisting in the creation and implementation of plans to improve the carbon footprint of the Trust.
- Completing internal energy audits, surveys, and checks on energy monitoring.
- Assisting in reviewing policies and practices in light of new or changing regulations, best practice, and Trust policy.
- Assisting in the creation and delivery of awareness days, behavior change campaigns, and presentations to staff about best practice.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified to at least A-Level (x2) or equivalent.
- With a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades A* to C (including Mathematics & English).
- Experience of project management and administration.
- Experience of communicating with a variety of audiences.
