This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and skilled team within Northumberland's Family Hubs. We are looking to recruit a Family Help Worker to support families with children and young people aged 0-19 (25 with SEND) in South East Northumberland.
As a Family Help Worker, you will complete Early Help assessments using a whole family approach and provide intervention with issues such as Domestic Abuse, school attendance, parenting, financial support, and SEND. You will need to work effectively alongside our partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families and you will be expected to chair meetings and keep accurate records.
We provide a full induction programme, regular supervision, and opportunities for continuous professional development.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of a level 3 qualification in Children and/or Young People or equivalent
- A good depth of understanding and knowledge of child/young person development
- Knowledge and experience of the Early Help Assessment process
