About Our Client

Michael Page (UK) is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the field of accounting and finance.

We are currently working with a fast-growing e-commerce business based in Cheshire, seeking an experienced Financial Planning Manager to join their team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing gross margins, developing pricing strategies, optimising product assortment, managing costs, and implementing promotions and markdown management.

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximise revenue.
  • Optimise product assortment to meet customer demands and improve profitability.
  • Manage costs effectively to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Implement promotions and markdown management to drive sales.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous retail or e-commerce experience.
  • Excellent Excel modelling skills.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and implementing new ways of doing things.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • Previous experience of Microsoft Power BI and SQL would be an advantage.
