Job Description

This role will involve managing the Technical Team, implementing quality management systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role in food/fresh manufacturing, experience in leading BRC and major retailer audits, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Lead and manage the Technical Team, overseeing task allocation, team training, performance, and development.
  • Implement and maintain HACCP and Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure safe, legal, and high-quality products.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer technical queries and standards implementation.
  • Actively participate in the Senior Management Team, contributing to KPI reporting and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to all company Health & Safety guidelines and policies.
  • Work closely with the Sustainability Lead to address waste management, environmental issues, and responsible sourcing.
  • Ensure continuous achievement of high standards in BRC and retailer audits, actively participating in the audit processes.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of systems and product monitoring results to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with NPD and Process teams to ensure the safety, stability, and legality of new and existing recipes.
  • Participate in customer site visits and factory tours, ensuring follow-up on actions and maintaining audit-ready standards.

About You

  • Proven track record in a similar role in food/fresh manufacturing is required.
  • Experience in leading BRC and major retailer audits.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
