Housekeeper Opportunity

Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all departments and designated areas within the hospital. This is a bank contract role, which means you will work on a flexible basis to cover sickness, annual leave, or additional staff needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure patient rooms are ready for admissions and serviced daily.
  • Clean departments and public areas, adhering to daily and weekly schedules.
  • Be flexible and accommodate changes to provide continuity of care and quality improvement.
  • Assist nursing staff to ensure patient rooms are ready for admission.
  • Support other team members, with occasional supervision of less experienced staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
  • No formal qualifications are required, and full training will be provided.
  • Good knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
