About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Immigration Paralegal to join our team at Gemini Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency specializing in legal recruitment, we provide a highly focused service to our clients in the legal market across the UK.

Main Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Department Director and work closely with the team to provide exceptional client care and support.
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with a range of Immigration matters, and undertake your own advocacy.
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases, ensuring compliance with Home Office requirements.
  • Prepare and manage funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency, and draft documents, including witness statements and processing evidence.
  • Attend conferences and court, maintaining accurate time costing procedures and implementing recommendations made by your supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with file management and maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Willingness to work towards Immigration Accreditation and demonstrate passion and experience in a broad range of publically funded Immigration Law.
  • A strong academic background with a Law degree and legal experience as an Immigration Paralegal/Advisor.
  • Clear understanding and application of Immigration Laws, business acumen, and the ability to market the Company.
  • Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people, analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Committed team player, self-motivated, and professional, with excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
