Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Older Adults

We are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews to diagnose and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of psychology and integrate new research findings into clinical practice.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and continuing education activities to support professional growth and development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Current and valid registration with the HCPC.
  • Proven experience within a psychologist position in the UK for more than 6 months.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Providing a psychological service for adults experiencing a mental health crisis requiring intensive treatment to prevent an admission to hospital.
  • Providing assessment, formulation, and brief psychological interventions.
  • Providing consultation and formulation sessions to the MDT.
  • Being present at MDT meetings, handover, and other relevant meetings.
  • Supervision of a Clinical Associate in Psychology.
