About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Decontamination and Reusable Medical Devices Handler to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical device regulations and quality systems, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, decontaminating, and distributing reusable medical devices throughout the trust, ensuring compliance with legislation and quality standards.

The role requires excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A good understanding of medical device regulations and quality systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Previous SSD or hospital experience preferred
