About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Mental Health, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to adults with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the management of adult eating disorders
  • Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of patients with eating disorders
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines
Requirements
  • Be medically qualified and registered with the GMC as a specialist in Adult Psychiatry
  • Have a strong understanding of current developments in psychiatry and mental health
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership skills and experience in a multidisciplinary team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
