About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Mental Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to adults with eating disorders, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults with eating disorders
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members

Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with the following qualifications and experience:

  • On the Specialist Register with the GMC as a specialist in Adult Psychiatry
  • Eligible for CCT within 6 months
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Teaching and training experience
  • Leadership and management experience
