We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking an experienced Newborn Hearing Screening Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This position involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide administrative services for the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme. As a Hearing Screening Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the programme by providing data inputting, using computerised systems confidently, and making phone calls to families and other stakeholders.

You will also be required to work with the trust to ensure that equipment such as telephones and computers are functioning correctly. Minute taking for team meetings will also be a key responsibility of this role.

Main Duties
  • Data inputting onto computerised systems and using the telephone confidently.
  • Awareness of both Neonatal and Well babies discharges and ensuring appointments are given within a timely manner to avoid breach dates.
  • Carrying out weekly data to monitor Neonatal babies' locations.
  • Be conversant with the roles of all staff and their relationships with internal/external organisations.
  • Reporting estate requests to the appropriate person.
  • Liaising with the Trust regarding telephones, computers etc.
  • Minute taking for team meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent keyboard skills, telephone skills, organisational skills, and email proficiency. You should also be proficient in Excel and able to understand the process and methodology involved in the hearing screening test and its implications.
